Our Grant Process

Pre Qualify

The Foundation only supports 501(c)(3) organizations, prioritizing local nonprofits and activities that match the Foundation’s areas of interests in and around Fort Myers, Florida.

Apply for Grant

Next, fully complete a grant application for review by the Foundation staff and board. Appropriate applications are considered at the next available board meeting.

Welcome a Visit

After a qualified nonprofit applies for a grant, the selection process begins with an in-person meeting, so the board can see the organization’s mission at work firsthand.

Receive a Grant

After the application is fully vetted, grants between $5,000 and $30,000 are awarded each year in the Spring and Fall. Organizations may receive one grant during a one-year period.
